A Boomerang Story
This is a true story which happened many years ago which show that Life is a boomerang. Two boys were working on some part time jobs for funding their education in Stanford University. As their funds suddenly became low, they planned to approach Paderewski for a piano recital so that the funds can be diverted for their board and tuition. The manager asked for a guarantee of $2000. The boys after accepting the agreement proceeded for concert. But in spite of their hard work, they could arrange only for $1600. But Paderewski was so grateful that he did not take the money from them. Days rolled by. The world war had a bad hit on Poland. Paderewski, premier of Poland was trying hard to feed his people contacted Herbert Hoover of US food and relief bureau. Immediately, he responded with thousands of tons of food. When Paderewski thanked Hoover said that It was a reciprocation for the help he received during his college times.
